Description
Semaglutide is a synthetic 31-residue analogue of glucagon-like peptide-1 (7–37). Numbered from that parent sequence, it has α-aminoisobutyric acid (Aib) at position 8, Arg at position 34, and an octadecanedioic (C18) fatty diacid attached to the Lys26 side chain through a γ-glutamyl–bis(AEEA) linker.
