Description
Naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide (Glycine-Histidine-Lysine bound to copper ion) found in human plasma, saliva, and urine. Levels decline significantly with age. First identified by Dr. Loren Pickart in 1973. Activates over 4,000 human genes related to tissue remodeling and antioxidant defense.
Benefits:
Stimulates collagen and elastin production; wound healing acceleration; anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects; promotes hair follicle enlargement and hair growth; skin tightening and anti-aging; nerve regeneration; liver protection; potential tumor-suppressing gene activation
Side Effects:
Generally very safe topically; injectable use may cause injection site irritation; potential transient metallic taste; rare allergic or contact sensitivity reactions; theoretical concern with excessive copper accumulation at very high doses (unlikely at typical doses)
For laboratory research only — not for human consumption.
