Description
A synthetic 44-amino acid analogue of GHRH (Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone) with trans-3-hexenoic acid conjugated to N-terminus for increased stability. FDA-approved (Egrifta SV) for reduction of excess abdominal fat in HIV-infected patients with lipodystrophy. Also studied for cognitive decline (Alzheimer’s).
