Description
Novel investigational triple agonist targeting GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors simultaneously. Developed by Eli Lilly. In Phase 3 clinical trials (TRIUMPH program). Phase 2 trials showed superior weight loss to both semaglutide and tirzepatide. Considered potentially the most potent weight-loss agent in its class.
Benefits:
Superior weight loss vs. existing GLP-1 agents (up to 24.2% body weight reduction in Phase 2 at 48 weeks); significantly improved glycemic control; improved lipid profiles; reduced blood pressure; potential cardiovascular risk reduction; combined metabolic benefits from all 3 receptor pathways
Side Effects:
Nausea (most common); vomiting; diarrhea; constipation; decreased appetite; injection site reactions; thyroid C-cell tumor risk (class warning – observed in rodents); potential pancreatitis risk; gallbladder disease (cholelithiasis); potential lean mass loss
For laboratory research only — not for human consumption.
