Description
A novel dual agonist targeting both GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) and GLP-1 receptors simultaneously. FDA-approved as Mounjaro (T2DM) and Zepbound (obesity). Produced by Eli Lilly. Demonstrated superior weight loss vs. semaglutide (SURMOUNT-5 head-to-head trial).
